New Zealand Police are at the forefront of adopting and implementing mobile technologies to improve the quality of services it provides to the country’s citizens. The agency has taken an even more forward-thinking approach by developing innovative mobile solutions for the public safety sector. The result is a new suite of police mobile applications called OnDuty.
In September of last year, New Zealand Police signed a landmark partnership agreement with Hexagon Safety & Infrastructure to commercialize OnDuty. The agreement is an extension of a decades-long partnership and commitment between the organizations.
In this HxGN TV episode, APAC Marketing Director Fiona Quill discusses OnDuty with Anne Speden, executive director for New Zealand Police. During the interview, they discuss the new partnership, why OnDuty was developed, and how the suite streamlines everyday operational needs for police officers in the field. Enjoy.
