In December, Hexagon announced plans to acquire Qognify, a leader in video and enterprise incident management solutions for the physical security market. The deal has now closed and Qognify is now the newest member of the Hexagon family, joining the Safety, Infrastructure & Geospatial division.
The acquisition is particularly exciting because Qognify’s solutions complement HxGN OnCall Dispatch in public safety and HxGN Connect in smart cities and other sectors, where there is increasing demand for comprehensive surveillance and intelligence from video and other security systems.
