Public safety agencies need to be prepared for incidents of all scopes and sizes. Firefighters in particular must work quickly to access affected areas, extinguish blazes, or contain other hazards, oftentimes with lives on the line.
Recently, Hexagon partnered with FlowMSP to enable fire departments to better plan for and respond to incidents.

Fire agencies using Hexagon’s computer-aided dispatch (CAD) solutions now have direct access to FlowMSP’s pre-planning and incident response tools in the CAD system’s interface. Additionally, Hexagon CAD data is now available in the FlowMSP mobile app.

Through the FlowMSP integration, Hexagon CAD customers will be able to access their pre-plans quickly, including hydrant data, calculated flow rates, images, annotations, and more, without toggling between software tools. The integrated bundle will save valuable space on departments’ mobile data terminals while facilitating ease of use.
By providing rich, pre-planning data within a firefighter’s workflow, the Hexagon / FlowMSP integration streamlines the flow of crucial information as firefighters respond to incidents. Now, firefighters can efficiently plan response while en route, arriving at the incident with strategy in place.
