21Tech brings Hexagon solutions to new customers

Hexagon’s Safety, Infrastructure & Geospatial division has a new partner for its geospatial mapping and collaboration solutions, and it’s a partner that Hexagon knows well.

At last year’s HxGN LIVE Global, 21Tech was recognized as the 2023 Public Sector Partner of the Year by Hexagon’s Asset Lifecycle Intelligence (ALI) division. A partner since 2009, 21Tech has strategically focused to equip customers with ALI’s enterprise asset management (EAM) solutions since 2015.

21Tech serves a diverse client base, including Fortune 100 companies and state and local agencies across the U.S. and Canada. Founded in 1996, it specializes in managing large scale system implementations and integrating HxGN EAM solutions.

Hexagon’s Safety, Infrastructure & Geospatial division offers solutions that complement HxGN EAM. To take advantage of those synergies, 21Tech and Hexagon have extended their partnership to include those solutions.

21Tech’s customer base is hungry for the deep spatial functionality that M.App Enterprise geospatial mapping software and HxGN Connect, a cloud-native, real-time incident center as a service solution, provide, particularly in the government and transportation industries.

HxGN Connect brings data and people together into a unified view for shared awareness, collaboration and action. It also complements organizations’ existing systems, providing a richer, unified view of information with built-in messaging and tasking to enable both unplanned, ad hoc engagement and ongoing, daily structured collaboration. HxGN Connect can also help organizations work in concert with other agencies and stakeholders.

M.App Enterprise provides a unified geospatial enterprise platform that enables customers and partners to configure targeted, vertical solutions for their business. These solutions allow users to smartly monitor assets and infrastructure by processing static, dynamic and real-time data in a single platform. The platform provides spatial analysis and machine learning algorithms, and allows operators to visualize results in 2D, 3D and interactive dashboards. Business workflows can also be configured in a low-code/no-code environment, with highly configurable rules for lifecycle workflows, data validation and integration with other systems across desktop, browser and mobile devices.

“We’re really excited about the new Hexagon solutions and how they open possibilities for true geographic workflows for our clients,” said Bill Carrick, vice president, business development & strategy for 21Tech. 21Tech is also excited about the opportunity to bring its deep asset management domain experience to Hexagon’s Safety, Infrastructure & Geospatial division’s client base, further extending their process maturity and value realization from their assets.

Bruce Chaplin, Hexagon’s Safety, Infrastructure & Geospatial division’s vice president of sales for government, transportation and defense, said partnering with 21Tech, a company that had already established itself as a strong supporter of Hexagon, was an easy decision. They have “deep, deep relationships” with their customers and have found situations where our solutions can fill gaps not covered by HxGN EAM.

“It’s bringing geospatial or mapping capabilities to (21Tech’s) existing customers,” Chaplin said. “They have customers that need to fill the gaps in the workflow or are looking to work in a more map-centric way.”
